Sometimes I know right ahead that a moment is going to be shot in black and white, because it fits the mood and style perfectly. But there are also those photos that turn into B&W a long while after they’ve been taken, perhaps because they initially had a different purpose, or because it took a second look to realize how much more powerful they look without any color.
