In april 2019 I had the pleasure of being asked to photograph a theater performance in one of Sweden’s first nuclear reactor halls. The director, Gustav Englund, wanted a dark and authentic feel to the photos, so when I sat down to edit them I was quite inspired by the light and shadows. Letting the images speak to me I created a film-sort of grainy look which reminded me of an Annie Leibovitz’s Harry Potter photoshoot – a play between shadows, film and warm colors.
