The Undisturbed

I travel to Russia every year for the summer to be with my family and my grandma. So daily visits to the beach due to the the sometimes deadly heat is a must. You know the feeling one gets when there’s a potential moment or shot right in front of you, and your hands start to feel itchy and fidgety because there is no camera in your vicinity? Well, that happened to me. For 10 minutes. At the beach. With oily hands. I took my phone out, an iPhone 6s, and started snapping away a few very interesting people. And so the waiting began.

I spent the mornings of those weeks at the beach, waiting for the right moments to capture. And I just love the colors and the authentic and timeless mood about them. This is just one of those things that prove a photographer never is defined by her camera. It can be a spy-pen-cam for all I know. I love it.
